Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS)
Aimed at young researchers from abroad who have completed a master’s degree or PhD.
Eligibility
Must have a mandatory letter from an academic host professor at a Swiss institution confirming they will supervise the research.
Nationalities: Pakistani, all
Degree levels: phd, postdoc
Minimum IELTS: 6.5
Minimum TOEFL: 90
Proficiency in English, French, German, or Italian depending on the academic supervisor.

Funding

Monthly payment of 1,920 CHF (PhD) to 3,500 CHF (Postdoc), mandatory Swiss health insurance, one-time housing allowance, and return flight.
